Kimo Kaulani (born 1973, Hilo, Hawaii) is an American record producer, songwriter, composer and singer.

Career

Kimo Kaulani began working in the music industry in as a keyboardist for a Capitol Records Recording Artist for 2 years. After leaving Capitol Records, he formed Solopro Music Inc. The company provided production services and songwriting for established and developing artists.

In 2000 Kimo Kaulani & Production partner Geri King formed Nuendo Music Group, (which later became Red Skye Records). Red Skye Records was a record label distributed by Sony Music. The label had several successful releases and artists internationally over its 6 year span. Kimo and his production partner have garnered nominations for a Dove Award, a Grammy Award Nomination, and several International Award nominations.

Kimo's accomplishments have been recognized by several of the music industry’s leading software and equipment manufacturing companies such as Steinberg/Yamaha, MXL Microphones, Sony Pictures Digital and M-Audio.

Kimo Kaulani also formed Ki 2 Music in 2000 through BMI and in 2010 formed Hilo Boy Music through SESAC as his personal publishing company.

After a move from New York to Los Angeles in 2007, Kimo and his longtime production partner Geri King formed the music production company Audio Blueprint, recording facility Studio 7 Recording, graphic design company Lotus Media Design and record labels Khepera Records, Sonic Flux Music and Endless Soul Music all of which are under their parent company 141 Entertainment,Inc.

In June 2011, through merger and acquisition, 141 Entertainment, Inc was closed and the new parent company was formed as The Denar Group, Inc. The new parent company brought Dream Chase Pictures into its fold to join the existing group of companies.
